BATHROOM & ENSUITE

MIRRORS         Spray with Glass Cleaner.  Wipe overall with wet sponge to remove all marks.  Polish with dry towel paying special attention to edges of glass and around frame.  Finish with newspaper or paper towel polish overall

VANITY TOPS                         Remove all items from vanity top.  Spray with surface cleaner.  Wipe with wet sponge paying particular attention to edges and corners.  Polish with dry towel.  Shake out any mats or doilies.  Replace all items in original locations, wiping with dry towel as they are replaced.

BASINS & TAPS                          Scrub with creme type cleaner paying special attention to around tap bases, tap handles, plug hole, edges and corners.  Rinse twice with wet sponge then wipe with damp sponge.  Polish with dry towel.  Replace plug and face washer.

SHOWER RECESS                               Scrub walls, floors and shower screen doors with creme type cleaner, ensuring that all traces of soap scale and residue are removed, especially in grout areas and corners.  Clean shower screen door tracks thoroughly.  Rinse walls, floor and doors twice with wet sponge and dry with damp sponge.  Polish glass doors with dry towel and finish with paper towel if necessary to produce streak free finish. 

TILED WALLS                                  Wipe down tiled walls with damp sponge, paying special attention to corners and edges.  Spot clean where necessary with surface cleaner.  Polish with dry towel to streak free finish. 

TILED FLOORS                                Scrub floors with  floor cleaner using sponge squeegee.  Rinse twice with wet sponge squeegee followed by damp squeegee.  Finish with dry towel if necessary to ensure floor is streak free. 

ENAMEL BATH                          Clean with creme type cleaner paying special attention to taps, plug hole and corners.  Rinse twice with wet sponge.  Finish with dry towel to a streak free finish.  Replace plug and other items to original locations,  wiping with a dry towel whilst doing so.  

PLASTIC BATH & SPA             Clean with surface cleaner non-creme cleaner paying special attention to plug hole, taps, spa jets, corners and edges.  Rinse twice with wet sponge.  Finish with dry towel to streak free finish.

TOILET & BIDET                         Toilets must be cleaned using sponges, brushes and cloths used solely for this purpose.  For reasons of hygiene, cleaning items used on toilets must not be used for any other purpose.  Coat all surfaces of toilet bowl with Harpic liquid or powder and leave on surface for 5 minutes.  Scrub toilet bowl with stiff toilet brush paying special attention to areas under the rim and the area of the bend.  Flush toilet whilst holding toilet brush in water stream.  Check bowl for cleanliness.  Wipe all surfaces of bowl,  cistern seat and lid (especially under lid) with sponge retained solely for that purpose.  Finish with dry cloth retained solely for that purpose to a streak free finish.  Place hygiene seal strip across toilet seat.  Check condition of toilet blue block and replace if necessary.  Check toilet roll and replace if necessary, dust toilet roll holder.  Fold corners of toilet paper and place Affordable Maids sticker on end of paper. 

DUSTING                                           Dust window sills, top edges of tiles, power points and light switches, skirtings and architraves, light fittings, pelmets, plants and accessories.  Straighten towels and items on display.  Check for completion with "client eyes"
